Each student will participate in 2 day clinics as well as daily one on one instruction with world-class instructors. A day of Simulated Driven Shooting will round out the event to test the skill you have learned. Targets and breakfast and lunch daily is included. Additionally all participants are welcome to a group Sporting Dinner.

WORLD CLASS INSTRUCTION

We are proud to offer world class instruction by European guest instructors: Willie Cole, Giles Culley, Tim Cole and Lars Magnusson. All hailing from the West London Shooting School heritage and teaching the Percy Standbury method, students from novice to expert can draw from their highly regarded tutelage.

Students will participate in 2-day small group clinics, followed by a day of simulated game shooting.

Put your new skills to the test on the final day with a fast paced simulated shoot.

Lars Magnusson Lars’ formal shooting education started in his native homeland of Sweden at Sweden’s first shooting school. Two years later he was recruited by West London Shooting School, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious. After assisting in the establishment of the West Stockholm Shooting School, Lars accepted a position with Griffin and Howe as the managing director of the shooting school at Hudson Farm.   In 2006, he headed west. Lars and his wife Jennifer established Blixt & Co in 2008 and began the pursuit to bring authentic driven shooting to America.

Horseback Riding

Canyon and Creek ride – 3.5 hours Special Sporting Days rate of $375/rider Ride through the mountains and cross creeks on the way to Tavern Blue Sky where our Chef has prepared a 3-course meal in an open mountain meadow.     Cowboy Way ride – 5 hours Special Sporting Days rate of $500/rider A full day beginning with breakfast prepared by our Blue Sky Chef. Start in our outdoor arena where you’ll receive Natural Horsemanship and cow working instruction. Then head up the mountain through meadows and rugged terrain to the pastures where our cows graze. Savor the opportunity to experience the Cowboy Life as you move the cows to new pastures. Enjoy a 3-course meal at Blue Sky Tavern.

High West Distillery

The High West Distillery invites visitors to follow the whiskey making process from grain-milling and mashing through distilling and aging. Learn how some of the world’s most storied beverages are made, from rye, wheat, oat and malt, in massive copper stills imported from Scotland. Cap off the tour with educational whiskey tastings, of course, then enjoy inspired western country cuisine amid glorious mountain views.
