Assistant Lodge Manager would work directly with the Lodge Manger and would be an expert in all aspects of the company, with outstanding communication skills, eagerness to learn, and outgoing attitude. Must be able to troubleshoot quickly and find creative solutions to project and operational challenges. They must be highly organized, analytical, professional as well as friendly and flexible. The Assistant Lodge Manager reports directly to the Lodge Manager, Hospitality Director and General Manager.

Blixt & Co, a luxury hunting and shooting company in Teton Valley Idaho, is seeking an ambitious executive chef to craft and execute a culinary vision and experience. Based in the majestic Teton Valley, the executive chef and their team will be responsible for all aspects of the culinary experience. The culinary team is responsible for feeding 20-50 guests three meals plus in multiple venues including rural camps for an 8 month high season. Freedom in the slow season will allow for time off and travel.
Executive chef will have creative freedom, to design a fine dining program for the groups arriving for a classic European shoot as well as specialty events, workshops and traveling. Open opportunity for culinary programming and product development. Additionally, visions for off season dining would be considered.
The chef will recruit the culinary team with assistance from ownership. The high season provides guest service for 17+ hours a day for a high end customer. Executive Chef will be required to ensure ample team members and scheduling that allows the team to perform at the highest level.

In addition to working with a head trainer, you will have responsibilities to help articulate the training our company dogs in accordance with the Wildrose Way , we would welcome the opportunity to train a select number of our clients’ dogs.
Our shooting season commences in mid-August and concludes at the end of November. This unique position will provide you with the opportunity to refine the dogs’ abilities during the summer months and subsequently demonstrate their proficiency through the shooting season.
The company dogs will serve as the backbone of our picking team, and their well-conditioned and ready-to-work state is paramount when the time arrives. You will be responsible for establishing and managing multiple picking and sweeping teams throughout the season, which will present both challenges and profound fulfillment upon successful completion.
Furthermore, we have a walk-up membership program that you will manage on a daily basis. This role entails scheduling our members for walk-up hunts and cultivating positive relationships with them to maintain the program and success.

VRBO: Flips and Pre-arrival preparations including any guest requests.
Act as on site host for guests and offer check in communications and follow up. On flips, confirm and reset inventory items and cleaning supplies as needed.
Lodge: Do a bi-weekly walk through and cleaning of the Lodge.
Employee Housing: As needed we may need regular cleaning for employee housing.
April-December
Manage Housekeeping Team: Set work schedules (to be approved by Lodge Manager/Director of Hospitality) for the Housekeeping Team.
Cleaning Standards: Set Cleaning standards and cross check houses for standards and details.
Guest Support: Working with the Hospitality Manger and Lodge Manager, set houses for guest arrivals including print materials, welcome boxes, restocking and Gifts. Check for any guest requests or other needs from Lodge
Lodge: Regular lodge cleaning per the lodge team and based on need. Including storage areas as needed.
Dallies and Flips: Ensure houses are flipped and cleaned per the schedule to a standard of excellence.
Employee Housing: As needed we may need regular cleaning for employee housing.
Supplies: Maintain stocks and organization of all supplies, including linens and house inventories.
Repairs: Identify and follow through on all repairs and maintenance required. Stay in touch with contractors and repairmen until repairs are complete
Move and Inventory: Assist with seasonal moves and inventories.

Our 25-30 person strong beating team is at the heart of what we do!
If you like to walk, spend the day outside and be a part of a team, you might consider joining our beating team. The Beaters are responsible for driving or flushing the birds towards the Guns, under the Game Keeper’s instructions. Most are armed with sticks to beat the bushes and trees but some, acting as Flankers may carry flags in order to direct birds. Others may act as Stops, perhaps at the end of a hedgerow, preventing quarry from going in a particular direction. Why spend money on a gym membership when you can join in on this active and exciting day in the field.
We are also looking for Beaters who are interested in running company dogs in the beating line. These individuals will require additional training.
We will be shooting 6-7 days/week August-November.

The hospitality team, including chef, lodge manager, and guest service specialists, will ensure that the guests are comfort- able and relaxed after a day in the field.
We provide elegant hospitality and lodging, complete with our private chef located in Idaho with stunning views of the Grand Tetons.
Role:
Chef will serve groups of 8-18 in an elegant and sophisticated manner, with a friendly, intimate environment. Exquisite food and the highest standards of excellence are expected and have been tradition.
Our guests, the captains of industry and the country’s elite, expect nothing less. Chef has creative freedom and is only limited by imagination and the expectations of excellence. Food preparation includes, fresh cold breakfast offered early, followed by hot breakfast. Lunch is often served in the field. Formal, 4 coursed dinners, are the highlight of the evening.
Key Responsibilities
Sous Chef works together with our Executive Chef to secure all aspects of the kitchen, preparation of 3 meals a day for groups of 8-18 guests and on shoot days. Additional responsibilities include managing the kitchen budget, shopping, sourcing, and the efficient running of the kitchen. Days begin early and end late. Additional staff support is available and recruitment is possible and managed in tandem with owner and lodge manager.
Flexibility and easy going style and attitude A MUST! There is no room for ego.
We strive to use as much local produce and product as possible and we are beginning plans for more farm to table concepts. We would like to find a chef with vision and leadership to help us craft the direction and development of the culinary experience.
