Elsa Laver

HEAD LOADER

Elsa grew up in the country side of North Yorkshire, England. She spent all her free time outside with lots of animals to look after. She grew up horse eventing with her mother and sister. Shooting was something she started age 13 with her father and brother when home from boarding school. Whether it be on clays or a driven day or two during the season she found a passion for being in the field.

Elsa originally left home at 18 on a gap year to work out what she wanted to do at university, however, quickly realized that working on a shoot was the right path. She has also been over to work in New Zealand as a gamekeeper and has also been a part of the work down at Blue Sky clay course learning to be an instructor. Elsa now works as a key member of the field team,  head loader and gun room manager during the season and Sporting Manager. She enjoys seeing and being a part of all aspects of the shoot where she can.
