Hej Kompis! Elin may often slip into speaking in Swedish at times. In other words, “Hi, friend!”
Growing up in Gothenburg, with both parents working as journalists, her curiosity for the world grew stronger which led her to travel the world, eventually landing in New York City before Idaho.
She owned and operated her own business in NYC designing and creating leather bags and custom items while also managing a retail store on 5th avenue. Her strong work ethic and fun creative attitude led to recruiting, on-boarding, opening of new stores and developing new team members.
In 2019 she decided to take a break from the city life and set off on a solo journey across America. After four months of exploring National Parks and working part time at a cattle Ranch in Wyoming, Elin heard of some more Swedes and a wonderful family business in the neighboring state of Idaho. During her first season at Blixt, Elin familiarized herself with driven shooting and worked as a footmen, beater, bird feeder and server.
Beginning the 2020 season, Elin settled into Teton Valley, now living the country life, and enjoying the new challenges within her role at Blixt and Co. as Lodge Manager.
